Appropriate for beginners to advanced students. Some weaving experience is good, but not necessary.
This colorful little pouch is 3 to 4 inches long and perfect for keeping and wearing special little treasures. Kathy will provide a cleaned, dyed gourd along with a supply kit so that students can focus on techniques rather than gourd cleaning. You will have your choice of 3 out of 54 beautiful colors of nylon cording to work your weaving. Kathy will teach you the coiling and knotting techniques as well as creating a hinge and bead lock. The class will learn to make a 3-way braid strap and slide knot to adjust the length of the necklace.
Most students will leave the class with a finished project as well as an instructional handout.
Please bring scissors to class.
