Students must know how to knit, purl and bind off.
Combine your love of gourding with your passion for knitting to make this unique and beautiful basket. Students will learn to prepare the gourd for knitting on, learn how to "cast on" on a gourd or other rigid object, and knit an aran texture to make this functional and decorative basket.
Please bring:
- 2 sets of double point needles – size 8;
- 1 size B crochet hook;
Optional:
- Stitch markers,
- Cable needle,
- Row counter &
- Size 6 double point needles.
Yarn and gourd will be provided.
